Mailbox Monday - June 15

Mailbox Monday is a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued. Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. It now has a permanent home at the Mailbox Monday blog.

I am getting closer and closer to seeing a mailbox in the sand. We leave at the end of the month for North Carolina. I can't wait! Even though I am sure I will have to work while I am there, the change of scenery and of pace will be welcomed by all of us.

The Lil' Diva found a new job and is reconsidering her future college plans if she is forced to take online classes in the fall. The Lil' Princess is enjoying some much deserved time off after an intense school year; though she is looking forward to going back in the fall and seeing all her friends again. They both miss dance.

My mailbox last week held a little surprise I had forgotten about it.

I will be reviewing this one. It is coming along to North Carolina.

What presents did you find in your mailbox? What is on you summer TBR list?

  1. My family and I were supposed to be going to Wildwood in August but clearly that's no longer happening. Oh how I long for the beach and salty air of the ocean. *sigh* It's summer on the porch this year. Enjoy your new book!

    1. I am sorry to hear that, Laura. We were supposed to be in Greece right now, so I understand how disappointing canceled plans can be. Thankfully, our friend owns a house in NC, so even if I had to cook every day while I was there instead of going out to eat, it would still be nicer than hanging out at home.

  3. I am so glad you are getting to go on your vacation/break. My staff ladies are enjoying the beach at Panama City since no one has had a vacation yet this year. We continue working (a mixed blessing) as our business was considered essential and we wanted to stay in business.
Inspired Mama looks like a good book!
I feel for your daughters. Times are different and they have to make tough decisions.
I hope you all stay safe and enjoy your week.

  4. Enjoy your break even if you may have to include some work. My daughter is loving online University. She doesn't have that long car trip there and back and is saving on time and petrol but it will be ending soon as she has an intensive week in July where she needs to attend classes.
