I had the chance to meet Holly at a writers conference in October of last year. I was embarassed to admit I really didn't know who she was, though I had heard of The Spiderwick Chronicles. She is very knowledgable about book promotion. I went ahead and bought the first book in The Spiderwick Chronicles after the conference. I had to see what this talented lady was writing about.
