Happy Thanksgiving!

As we all gather around our tables today, may we be thankful for the little blessings we have experienced this year. While they have been hidden in amongst a pandemic, protests, violence, and a crazy election, let us hold our loved ones close and find something to be grateful for every day.

Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving.

PBS KIDS Launches Thank You Neighbors Campaign

Your family can celebrate essential workers in your neighborhood with the help of the PBS KIDS Thank You Neighbor Campaign, a month long celebration of teachers and essential workers.

The Thank You Neighbors Campaign highlights and resources include:

• Fill-in-the-blank digital cards for families to complete and share with the hashtag #ThankYouNeighbors
• Printable coloring sheets with thank you prompts that can be emailed to community helpers, or posted for them to see
• A virtual game which allows kids to create essential worker heroes like postal carriers, utilities workers, first responders, doctors and more
• Videos that help children explore the neighbors and helpers that make up a community
• Resources for parents to help with conversations about essential workers

Throughout the month on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, pbskids.org and the PBS KIDS Games app, you'll find tons of resources and games to help you encourage an attitude of gratitude.

The PBS KIDS for Parents website features articles to help parents teach their children about essential workers in their communities and how to be a good neighbor.

You'll also find a Thank You Neighbors playlist from your PBS KIDS favorite series on PBS KIDS YouTube.

As a Busy Mom Thinks: Review of Grace of Gratitude Journal by Deborah Perdue

It's been a while since I've been able to write a review. Life is hectic. Time is short. I had a chance to sit down lately with this lovely journal I received from Deborah Perdue, though, and it brightened my day.

This beautifully designed journal has glossy pages to help remind you what you are grateful for. Stunning artwork from Tara Thelen blends nicely with Perdue's inspiring text to create a lovely journal you will enjoy picking up over and again. The pages you can write on have a date line and plenty of space for you to jot down what you are grateful for on any given day. What a wonderful way to count your blessings.

Though the copy I received had its spiral-bound cover placed on backwards and upside down, I will definitely enjoy penning my thoughts on its pages.

Currently in stock at Amazon.

I received a copy of this book from the author. This review contains my honest opinions, which I have not been compensated for in any way.
