In the News - Shirley Temple Black

Sad news out of California today. Shirley Temple Black passed away last night. The iconic child star was a top box-office draw between 1935 and 1938. "In 1999, the American Film Institute ranking of the top 50 screen legends ranked Temple at No. 18 among the 25 actresses."

Retiring from films at the age of 21, she married and raised a family, before becoming active in politics and holding several diplomatic posts in Republican administrations.

Below is one of my favorite songs from the movie Curly Top.

As Bob Hope would have said, "Thanks for the memories."
