Blogging from A to Z - E

Don't these look yummy? The Early Richmond Cherry (Prunus cerasus) is a sour cherry. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, this is a self-pollinating, heavy producing tree that will produce fruit for 3 to 5 years. Hardier in cold climates, and resistant to drought and rainy conditions, this cherry is ideal for pies and preserves. This tree will grow up to 15 - 18 feet high and have a 10 - 20 foot spread. There are also dwarf and semi-dwarf trees available.
