Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists.
It is Monday again. Funny how quickly the weeks pass. I had back to back open houses Sunday and was on the road showing houses all day Saturday. The good thing: I sold a house! I've already closed nine deals this year--not counting rentals--so I'm feeling good right now.
But, on to more fun things. This week included a trip to the library to pick up two audiobooks, an unexpected arrival, and a Kindle freebie.
Prior to reading Go Set A Watchman, I wanted to read the classic To Kill A Mockingbird. I'm listening to it in my car.
I also picked up the next HP book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
In the mail, this book arrived:
The Brain Sucker is a fast-paced action adventure story for Middle School readers. It follows Callum McCullock and his two friends, Sophie (a brilliant engineer) and Jinx (the world's unluckiest boy) as they try to defeat an evil genius from unleashing his brain sucking machine and destroying all the goodness in the world.
This is a book I'm reviewing for a book tour.
Finally, I downloaded a really interesting looking freebie for my Kindle.
Be careful what you wish for. Something more than curiosity spirals Grae back in time to seek the truth in the tragedy of a 200 -year-old murder. Along the way, she learns about history, happiness, and heartache in the lives of those who have lived on the property, including her own family. Her first journey reveals secrets that will lead Grae to further explore the legends of Graham Mansion. REDEMPTION is Book One in the award-winning Legends of Graham Mansion series.
What was in your mailbox?
In other good news, I picked the winner in our latest giveaway. Congratulations goes out to Vicki. She won a copy of Bitter Bronx by Jermone Charyn.
That's it for now. I hope you all have a nice week.
